B.TECH IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
The department of Electrical Engineering at Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering & Management is one of the continuously evolving branches. It is approved by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education). Electrical Engineering is a subject which correlates with other branches to open whole new engineering technologies. The Department of Electrical Engineering at GNIEM promotes students in this field with new Technology information.
The department offers B. Tech in Electrical Engineering programs. The school of Electrical engineering has gained a high reputation all over the country. The faculty members have a strong sense of responsibility to provide quality education to all the graduate students. The faculty members have published an important number of research papers in international and national journal, national conferences, seminars and workshops. Electrical Engineering has classified into various sub-discipline which includes digital computers, telecommunication, control systems, power engineering, instrumentation, signal processing and microelectronics. Electrical Engineers work-in a wide range of industries. The curriculum has designed to produce electrical engineers of high caliber with different technical skills to solve any problem.

Er. Nipun Sharma (HOD Electrical Engineering Department)
Er. Nipun Sharma is working as Associate Professor and Head in the Department of EE and ECE at Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering & Management, Naushehra (Dalewal), Hoshiarpur, Punjab. He received his B.Tech. Degree in Electronics Engineering from Azad Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow, India, in 2007, M.Tech. Degree in Power Electronics & Drives from Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College (presently Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology), Gorakhpur, India, in 2011 and Ph.D. Degree funded by Technical Education Quality Improvement Program Phase-II from Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow (Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University), Lucknow in 2017. He has published 28 International Journal papers and presented 13 papers in Conferences. He has received best research paper awards in the IEEE National as well as IEEE International Conferences. He has published one book also in the field of Power Electronics & Drives. He has organized many workshops and a national conference. He has taken two expert lectures in the field of Power Electronics & Drives at Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management, Varansi and GNIEM Naushehra. He has total 08 years of teaching experience in IET Lucknow, JNU, Jaipur and AIET Lucknow. He also has 06 months professional experience from NIIT, Bangalore. His research area of interest includes Electrical Machines, Fault diagnosis and Health Monitoring, Signal Processing, and Multilevel Inverters.
